LANGT UDE I SKOVEN - FAR OUT IN THE FOREST
- was a nature and art project carried out by Jette Mellgren late summer 2020 in Åløkkeskoven in collaboration between Odense Aftenskole, a nature guide, 3 local primary schools and performing artists: Anne Bjørn, Britt Smelvær, Freja Niemann Lundrup, Magnus Mellgren and Jan Johansen.
The project was created during Covid-19 as an alternative to the traditional classroom teaching. It provided knowledge and created cultural experiences as new angles on life in the forest.
The project zoomed in on nature, and was the set off for the series of works created by and together with the artists.
