WADDEN TIDE – A SITE-SPECIFIC SCULPTURAL EXHIBITION BY THE WADDEN SEA

The exhibition focused on site-specific aspects of the cultural and natural surroundings in the Wadden Sea region and on themes that apply to all of our oceans.
The exhibition, which took place in the Wadden Sea National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was based on the East Atlantic Flyway, an important bird migration route – from Iceland to South Africa.
The artists all represented countries along the East Atlantic Flyway:
Ingrid Ogenstedt (IS), Britt Smelvær (NO), Gjøde & Partnere Arkitekter (DK), Kate Skjerning (DK), Stuart Ian Frost (GB), Roger Rigorth (DE), Hannah Streefkerk (NL), Monique Bastiaans (BE), Erick Fourrier (FR), Bosch & Simons (ES), Edgar Massul (PT) and Strijdom van der Merwe (ZA)

The project was realized by Kulturregion Vadehavet
